NEWS - RIBA Stirling Prize 2007

Once again Portugal’s name is among nominees for an architecture prize. This time it’s the RIBA Stirling Prize.

Our “representation” is not made by an architect, we are being “represented” by a building: Casa da Música, by OMA.

The RIBA Stirling Prize shortlist for 2007 was announced on 26 July 2007, the six nominees are:

- America’s Cup Building, by David Chipperfield Architects in Valencia, Spain
- Casa da Música, by
OMA in Porto, Portugal
- Dresden Station Redevelopment, by
Foster + Partners in Dresden, Germany
- Museum of Modern Literature, by
David Chipperfield Architects in Marbach am Neckar, Germany
- The Savill Building, by
Glenn Howells Architects in Windsor, England
- Young Vic Theatre, by
Haworth Tompkins in London, England

The winner will be announced in October 6 on the RIBA Stirling Prize Dinner.
